A high-speed joyride turned tragic early Friday morning when a speeding SUV caused a chain collision on a highway near Bengaluru, killing seven people.
Police said the SUV first hit a motorcycle and then rammed into a moving truck, leading to a massive impact. All six occupants of the SUV and the biker died on the spot. Another vehicle later struck debris from the crash, leaving two people with minor injuries.

Initial investigations point to extreme overspeeding as the main cause. Authorities have launched a detailed probe and urged motorists to follow speed limits to prevent such fatal incidents.
