Congress Secures Major Civic Poll Victory; CM A. Revanth Reddy Thanks Voters Across State
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday expressed heartfelt gratitude to the people of the state Telangana after the Indian National Congress secured a sweeping victory in the civic elections held across 116 municipalities and seven municipal corporations.

The party reportedly won a majority of seats, strengthening its political position at the grassroots level.
In an official statement, the Chief Minister described the victory as a reflection of the tireless efforts and dedication of lakhs of party workers who carried the party’s message and government welfare schemes to the public.
He dedicated the win to grassroots activists who worked extensively during the campaign.
Reddy also said the election results signify public approval of the government’s two years of people-centric governance, highlighting welfare initiatives for poor and middle-class families as well as development-oriented planning and implementation.
Emphasizing that the mandate increases the government’s responsibility, the Chief Minister reaffirmed his commitment to transparent governance, inclusive development, and improved urban infrastructure.
He assured that all municipalities and municipal corporations would witness further development in the coming years, adding that the government would continue to work to maintain the trust placed by the people through the electoral verdict.
