CBSE Class 10 and 12 Exams Postponed in Kuwait

Kuwait– The Embassy of India in Kuwait has officially announced the postponement of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X and XII examinations originally scheduled for March 2, 2026. This decision comes in response to the ongoing regional situation currently affecting the Gulf region.

Immediate Postponement of Scheduled Examinations

According to the official press release issued by the Embassy, the board has decided to put a temporary hold on the exams specifically for students appearing in Kuwait. While the papers scheduled for March 2 are now deferred, a fresh date for these specific examinations has not yet been determined. The Embassy noted that the new schedule will be communicated to the public at a later stage once the situation is reassessed.

Review Meeting Scheduled for Future Exam Dates

The authorities are closely monitoring the regional developments to ensure the safety and security of all candidates. A formal review is set to take place on March 3, 2026, during which the CBSE will evaluate the conditions and make appropriate decisions regarding the schedule for exams intended to be held from March 5, 2026, onwards. This interim period will allow officials to determine if further adjustments to the academic calendar are necessary.
