AMARAVATI — In a major move to boost youth employment, Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Minister Nara Lokesh has officially unveiled a comprehensive Job Calendar for 10,060 government positions. Announced on the festive occasion of Ugadi, the calendar provides a clear roadmap for recruitment across various state departments for the year 2026.

Minister Lokesh emphasized that the government is committed to a “Jobs Festival” approach, promising that recruitment examinations and syllabus announcements will strictly follow the defined timelines.

The 2026 Job Calendar breaks down the 10,060 posts into specific phases to ensure a streamlined hiring process:

• May 15: Notification for 1,500 posts in the Higher Education Department.
• August 15: Mega notification for nearly 4,000 positions across various government departments.
• September 15: Recruitment drive for approximately 2,000 vacancies.
• October 15: Focus on the education sector with 3,000 posts in School and Intermediate Education.

Minister Lokesh also assured the youth that similar employment announcements will now become a regular feature every Ugadi (Telugu New Year).

How to Apply: The Naipunyam Portal

To ensure aspirants do not miss these critical deadlines, the HR Minister has urged all job seekers to register on the Naipunyam Portal.

“We have released a job calendar specifying notification dates and numbers. I call upon all aspirants to register on the Naipunyam portal to receive real-time alerts and participate in this recruitment process,” Lokesh stated in a post on X.

The portal will serve as a centralized hub for alerts, syllabus updates, and application tracking for the upcoming examinations.
